The Vigil of the Gospel: Proclaiming Christ to Every Heart
A vigil of the Gospel is a focused time of prayer devoted to the saving message of Jesus Christ. We learn of His life, death, resurrection, and call to repentance and faith. It asks God to open hearts, awaken spiritual hunger, and empower His people to proclaim the Good News with clarity, love, and courage.
The Gospel is the power of God for salvation, reaching every kind of person in every place. As we pray today, we ask the Lord to send His Word into homes, churches, neighborhoods, schools, workplaces, and communities across our nation. We pray for hearts to be softened, for barriers to be removed, and for Christ to be made known so that many may come to salvation and grow as faithful disciples.

Praying for the Gospel to Reach All
- Pray for hearts to be opened to Christ, asking God to draw people to Himself with conviction, grace, and truth
- Pray that believers would be bold and loving witnesses and speak of Jesus with courage, humility, and compassion
- Intercede for the spread of the Word and that the Gospel would reach into every community, generation, and sphere of influence
- Pray for repentance and salvation, asking the Lord to turn hearts from sin and bring many into new life in Christ
- Ask for new and growing believers to be strengthened and be grounded in truth, community, and obedience to Jesus
